Responsible for managing multiple concurrent design and manufacturing support projects of widely varying scope and duration. Accountable for customer relationship management from initial point of contact through the entire sales process, including quotes and proposals, defining project scope, risk assessment, project planning, execution, transfer to manufacturing, and product launch. Beginning as a Project Manager, responsible for managing engineering design projects. Responsible for all phases of the project and product development process, from assisting with Business Development activities, defining scope of work, creating a project plan, project schedule, and cost estimates, risk management documentation, writing proposals, reviewing and negotiating contract details, assigning and managing project resources, status tracking and reporting, and managing project changes. In addition to managing the projects, I often assisted with technical aspects of the projects, including writing technical requirements, specifications, test protocols, and other project documentation, as well as using my problem solving skills to diagnose technical issues and resolve issues with hardware and software design errors. I participated in and facilitated design reviews and ECO reviews and approvals. Created microcontroller based hardware and software designs for everything from small embedded systems controllers to motion control and data acquisition systems.
